Dear friends,
I am typing this review with utmost disgust and frustration. Yes, all this is due to the utter disregard of GoIbibo towards:
I had booked my ticket from BLR-MAA-BLR on Jan 19th 2014. Due to unavoidable circumstances, I had to cancel the same. Now, when we asked for refund, we were told there are issues with the account from where we had booked our ticket. Once I validated their claim, they offered to hold a part of the amount as a "GoCash" amount which they told me I could use the next time I book a ticket. Fair Enough.
Now starts the problem. When I genuinely wanted to book a ticket, I wasnt able to login to the account (wherein lies my Gocash amount). When I raised this issue with the "TECHNICAL" team, they too realised it was an anomaly from their side and told me that they will get back to me in 24-48 hours. Trust me, there was no response from them for more than a month. And every time I used to call them and fire them repeatedly. Seriously! Is this the way to treat?
Finally I booked my ticket WITHOUT using the GoCash amount.
It has been more than a month, and there has been no response to any of my emails or my issues.
Guys my appeal to you:
Never ever book your ticket with GoIbibo. In fact, even if you have to pay an extra amount through the airline website, please go ahead. You will save making umpteen calls to the Pathetic Customer Service of GoIbibo.
If you happen to have already booked your ticket and cancel it due to unforeseen circumstance, please ask them for refund into an account. DO NOT GO FOR the GoCash Account.
If anybody want to validate the veracity of this, the PNR of the ticket will be given to an executive of GoIbibo.
