Unhappy with services

I had a very bad experience with booking a hotel through the portal.There was no communication from from Go ibibo despite me sharing my payment details as requested via an auto generated mail. There was no communication whether the hotel was available or unavailable. It was only the next day when I started calling customer care that they started sending me emails stating that they are still trying to get a booking for me.


Explanations given were that we only reserve a booking and confirm it later but in between there was no timely communication to the customer.


Despite being a third party service provider I feel the onus still lies with Go ibibo to inform about the status of booking.


My plans were totally ruined coz of this lack of response and I ended up paying 10000 rs extra for getting a last minute accommodation reservation.


I would not like to recommend this to any of my friends who struggle to get leave and make time for holidays. It just increased my worries at the last minute.
