I have booked ticket in Shameem travels from Bangalore to Hyderabad on Sept 16th, 2013 for travel on 31st October 2013 with boarding point as Hebbal. The departure time mentioned was 10.15pm. I started from my place at 8pm and reached boarding point by 9.45pm. The bus did turn up till 10.25pm and gave call to the operator of Shameem travels. He said Bus just left to Majestic and it will take half and hour more. The bus didnt come till 11 pm and gave call Shameem again at 11.06 pm. He said it will take 15 mins more.The bus came at 11.20pm and when I show my ticket he says "YOUR BUS GOT CANCELLED" I was like you didnt inform me. He said the website from which you booked the ticket should inform you.Call them and ask for alternative. I requested him to wait until I call goibibo.com. He said "NO SEATS AVAILABLE AND LEFT". I called goibibo at 11.21pm and the operator took long time to understand my issue and she was like "YOU SHOULD HAVE INFORMED US 2HOURS BEFORE" I was shocked to hear that and said "YOURE THE GUYS WHORE SUPPOSED TO INFORM ME".She took Shameem operators contact no from me and put me on hold for long and came back with news saying "SORRY FOR INCONVENIENCE, NO ALTERNATIVES, WELL GIVE U FULL REFUND, TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND GO HOME" This call went for 15 mins and it was 11.40 pm already. By the time I reach my bus stop to take bus for my route it was 12 mid night. Being an alone girl it was such an inconvenience to get back as there was no public transport and I took a pooled car which wasnt safety at all at that point of time. I reached home by 1 am.Informing cancellation is such a basic issue in maintaining a travel website and how can they neglect these things!Extremely unsatisfied!
