I was upset that the details were changed on booking. I thought it may have been a mistake. And saw it happen the second time as well. Turns out many others have had the same experience, omg and then cancellation charges were 90% of the ticket itself! this is a scam., and I have no doubt about this, I just read other reviews and was appalled.
This calls for an awareness campaign and ofc a consumer court complaint. I tried another ticket booking and turns out the moment we reached the payment page, it changed again! Good thing I didn’t go through with it. I have never had issues with cleartrip etc. but this is a definite scam.and I lost 6K to this cheating scandal. bravo guys, very well designed scam.
I think they have designed the web page so the moment you scroll it changes the selections, its a very covert scam. and if I had not found other reviews relating to this experience I would probably have fallen for this trap again.
I am glad that mouthshut provides this platform as its easier for people to expose such scammers and warn others. I hope people realise this and learn from their fellow counterparts to not trust such online scammers. Horrible experience, no words for it. Blatant cheating.
