I have used GoIbibo.com for booking Air tickets a lot of times. I generally book tickets for New Delhi to Bangalore and back to New Delhi. In the last 3 months, I have booked more than 12 tickets.
Following things I like about using GoIbibo.com :
1 - Neat and clean user interface, not cluttered like Yatra.com or other websites. So, it is very easy to book the tickets.
2 - It has a link at the top of the homepage titled "Offers" and you can find some really useful, money saving offers. No other website gives such discounts as GoIbibo.com does.
A lot of times, I have used the code where they offer INR 500/- discount on every booking (one way ticket, no return ticket required, no conditions/clauses).
Recently I had to cancel 2 GoAir tickets from Bangalore to Delhi.
-- I cancelled the tickets on 9th Oct’ 12. Got the call next day in the evening to confirm the cancellation.
-- I called customtakeouter care on 15th Oct to know the status of refund. On the website the status was "to check". The customtakeouter Service Representative (CSR) informed me that I will get the refund in 2-3 days.
-- I called again on 17th Oct, this time the CSR was confused, she had no idea, first she said it will take 2-3 days more, then she said it will take 14 days, then she confirmed with her senior and said that it will take 30 days. I was annoyed, I requested to talk to her boss.
-- Her boss named Nitin told me that the website also clearly mentions that refund takes 30 days, he said sometimes it could take 6 months also.
-- I checked the website which said that the refund should take a max of 10 days.
-- then I sent a mail to travel@goibibo.com and they responded positively.
-- Next day, 18th Oct, I got my refund.
My experience of using GoIbibo.com has been good so far. I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for best deals (though you should check other websites also if they have any better deal on the day of booking but I have never found it to be true).
