I had a horrid experience in Golconda Chimney. I will never go back there again. It wont matter to them, im sure but I consider it against my principles to visit them.
My dad is physically disabled. We had gone to Golconda Chimney with my family to enjoy a meal. We wanted to sit outside(on the lawn) as my dad couldnt climb the steps leading to the restaurant.
We were rudely informed by the head waiter and the manager that they dont want to serve us outside( even though they were fully staffed), when we insisted that my dad couldnt walk up, we were informed that we shouldnt eat here if we didnt want to.
This is the level of hospitality in this restaurant. Gone are the days when customer was king. Money replaces everything.
I hope the owners/management of Golkonda Chimney realise what their employees are up to.
P.S my family is in the hospitality business in Bangalore( I wont mention which, but its a south indian restaurant in CBD of Bangalore), we wouldnt be where we are by being so rude to our customers.
I was thoroughly disgusted by the behaviour of Golconda Chimney employees. and I wonder how they sleep at night.
