This review is going to be lengthy, so in short for people who are looking for a quick review.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM, EVEN IF ITS FREE. THE WORST GYM I CAME ACROSS.
Coming from someone who is a passionate fitness enthusiast and knows very much about gyms and their culture.
So coming to the first part.
Ambience, with colorful lights like you are in a discotheque and their cheap bollywood and punjabi songs this for sure isnt a gym if you are looking for a gym which is professional and positive. Their overall atmosphere is so negative.
Coaching, this is the worst part of this gym, I wish if Golds are hearing this or are they only concerned about selling their franchises
Their trainers will stand in groups, stare at you, you wouldnt even love to seek their help, just pray to God if you are working out there with your wife, sister or your gf. If you are working out alone as a male and lifting better than their coaches they will make sure to ruin your workouts by poking you at everything. If this is the standard of the coaches in the Golds gym then no wonder people would stay away from it.
- Music, after working out in facilities like Celebrity Fitness, Fitness First and Bomiso I can clearly say that music aftects a lot in creating a gym atmosphere.
Their music is soothing and motivating, but this particular gym is still stuck in their double meaning bollywood and punjabi numbers.
Thank god mankind developed a wonderful piece of technology called Bluetooth earphones.
Equipment, above average but outdated. That too few machines are bad. This is the only slightly positive factor they have in this gym.
Staff, uncourteous and unthankful. If you pay them then forget the rest. No service or on floor assistance. Coaches will prefer to either stay in groups or or be on their mobile phones rather than helping anyone.
BETTER RUN IN A PARK THAN JOINING THIS GYM.
