I went to Gangtok in the month of feb, this year, infact it was my honeymoon trip. So obviousy I wanted everything smooth in advance. After much internet surfing, I zeroed on this Hotel, as the owner was giving more discount than others & hotel location(on MG road, city heart), its pictures on net looked good to me.
I also booked a taxi pick up from Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok, through Hotel (they charged around 300/- more than the usual, normal rate from Bagdogra Airport to gangtok is 1300/- to 1400/-) Staff was cordial, food also average...but the problem was the size of room....too small, however I’d like to tell u that I booked a super Deluxe Room. Overall.....to sum it up, staff was cordial, room service was good but the rent/size of room ratio was quite high, I suppose I should have bargained more on price.
