I have visited many religious temples in india. However, here, I would like to tell about a very famous temple The Golden Temple. It is also known as Harmandir Sahib. That is located in Amritsar, Punjab, India. I visited this temple before few months with my friends.
Though I don’t follow Sikh religion, I have huge respect for it.I wanted to visit The Golden Temple since I read Guru Granth Sahib. A lake was created here and because of the purity of the place, the water in the lake was referred to as Amrit, a holy drink for Gods which gives immortality and thus, the entire city is now know as Amritsar. When I entered the temple corridor, my heart filled with bliss and I filt as if I was at a special place.
I must say that my visit to The Golden Temple was really memorable and I personally recommend you to go and visit this place at least once.
