I have been a member of golds gym, convent road for the past 2 years and its been overall a satisfactory experience. The equipment, ambiance and the staff are quite decent. The only complain I have is that the trainers keep frequently changing.
Also, you will not be allowed to extend or freeze your membership, in case you are not able to use the gym due to some circumstances such as illness, travel, etc. I know several other gyms allow you to freeze your membership, in case you are able to use it for a month or so.
In fact, I was told I ll be able to do so when I joined the gym. The lockers could be improved too. But after visiting a number of gyms in town, I m of the opinion that golds gym seems to be the best in all aspects....
