Vada pav is not at all found in New Delhi NCR. Understandably, it does not belong to here and so, hearing about Goli Vada Pav certainly got me very excited. I checked about the franchise and least to say, it’s certainly a very reputed one and I had my expectations high. Having not much idea about the location, I decided to opt for home delivery. I’ve been to Mumbai a few times and have totally loved the vada pav there and so I had my expectations a little high, having said that, getting the vada pav as good as the one found in Mumbai wasn’t going to be easy and in all fairness, in Delhi that’s practically impossible.
I decided to go with 4 classic vada pav and 2 aloo vada pav. Taking about original taste, I felt the classic one might be that and the aloo one I believed might be a little closer to the taste of Mumbai i.e. if classic one isn’t.
The bill cost me around 200 which is fine I’d like to believe. Coming to the vada pav’s now:- well, they were fine. Nothing exceptional, certainly not like the vada pav we find in Mumbai. I knew that replicating the vada pav in Mumbai isn’t something that can be easily done in Delhi NCR. On that note, I would also add that try Goli vada pav if you’re looking for a good snack option to be delivered at your door step. Simply because certainly the hygiene part is good and the taste, well, is fine.
Among the options you get for snacks in Gurgaon, Goli Vada pav can be tried. Do not expect too much, just expect some good burgers(pav) with fine taste at affordable prices. Goli Vada Pav, can be tried solely for the way it’s prepared and the popularity of the franchise.
