By this time we all now what to expect from Rohit Shetty he is coming in the league of David Dhawan were you need to keep your brains at home to enjoy. This movie provides you with quite a lot of entertainment but one thing which bores you in Shetty’s movies are his action sequences it is as if he is making up for his first movie Zameen.
Anyways coming to this movie, the plot of the movie is inspired by Khatta meetha not the new one but the old one directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Mithun n Supriya pathak play the love birds who were separated by the all time great Baddie Prem Chopra the flash back sequence brings vintage Mithun to the screen n yes he can still dance. So when they decide to get married with help of Dabbo played by Kareena they still arent sure how would their children react when they know that there enemies are now there brothers the Paa’s group is headed by Arshad with Tushar N Kunal for company where as the Maa’s group is headed by Ajay n for his company he has Shreyas.
There is only one emotional scene in the movie n the guy who steals that scene is Tushar kapoor he is really good in that scene even Devgan could not match him.
The music is ok the best thing is it does not act like an speed breaker here they are also nicely captured.
For a movie like Golmaal to be successful you need strong performances from all the characters n everyone just provide that but it is Jhonny Lever who is at his very best here watch out for him at the climax sequence he does not allow anyone to even come close to him. He is well supported by Mithun and the movies best one liners go to Kunal who is efficient.
On the whole go for this movie it will make you laugh for sure.
