I booked a horn replacement service and it was told to me it would cost Rs. 699 includin everything. No, terms and conditions were mentioned despite multiple quries.
When I completed my service, I was billed 1800 Rs .
The reason - the Horn had to be procured from outside and was not present in the Garage - which is obvious. which local garage keeps horn in its inventory?
They dont have any garage of their own and are tied up with all local garages around.
Basically they throw you to the garage by quoting less price and then you are at the mercy of the garage owner who may charge any thing.
Their supervisor who is present is aware of these things and honestly admitted(being new to the job) that its common. He just does not know what to do.
When I called back, they said they will escalate and call back in 10 min - which of course did not happen.
Gradually I ended up payin 1800 to take my car out.
So guess not all online services are genuine and good. This one is ofcourse a FRAUD - all you need is develope an app and hire 2-3 phone executives.
I really doubt all these high ratings. Perhaps for normal wash and services its OK as those prices remain fixed. BUT NOT for car repair - major or minor.
for me - NEVER AGAIN
