This is my experience with the company Go Mechanic -Mondals Udyog.
I met with an rear bumper accident on 10th Sep 2020.I went to the company workshop and they gave me a huge estimate of the repair for a long waiting period. It wasnt possible for me to hand over the car for so long in the workshop as I had certain engagements to complete.
So I gathered some information about Go Mechanic from my friends.
I reviewed mouth shut reviews as well as other reviews about this company and was quite satisfied with the reviews given.so I contacted Go Mechanic and was promptly answered by their service buddy Rishov Mukherjee and was booked for my car service at Mondals Udyog at Tollygunj Muchipara as it was my nearest location.
Before handing over my car to them I had one condition .I will give the car on 14th and they have to return the car on 16th sep afternoon positively.as I had an important event to attendend in the evening.I repeatedly told Rishov mukherjee.if they can assure me on this , then I will handover the car to them.or else not.In response rishov said he will be able to deliver the car the very next day.if there is sunshine and no rain.i was impressed but told him to give the paint some time to dry up and if they deliver me on 16th .that will do.no need to hurry up.
On 14th the pick up time scheduled was 11.30 am.but the driver came at 12.30 pm after a list of follow ups with rishov.I decided to go with the driver as I needed to see their garage. While in the road the driver met with an accident in conflict with an uber.the fault was of uber but the driver also was in a double line while in jam.he was also warned by traffic police.but the net result my left car door got scratched by the uber.another damage to be carried .after that I reached mondal garage there I met Debasish Mondal , the owner of the garage.I , rishov and debasish sat along and decided the car will be delivered in 16th afternoon.with the needful completed and the estimate will be of Rs.8000 in total.as the door damage was caused because of the negligence of their driver .they will repair free of cost.I also told rishov and debasish that I will paying in full by card after receiving the finished car.
The next day I followed up rishov.he said all ok.On 16th morning I reminded rishov of my evening engagement and the car delivery .in response he assured me that the car will reach me by 5.30 - 6pm positively.In the afternoon again I followed up.again the same response.at around 4.30 pm debasiah mondal called up saying that if I could come up to their garage.and pick up the car.as there is shortage of manpower.I declined him as I had to get ready to for my evening occassion.Now from 5 pm literally the follow up started and every time I was assured that the car will reach me by 6 pm.after 6 pm the car didnt reach me.i was continuously on phone with rishov and debasish.and they continuously mislead me that the car is on its way.after that rishov stopped taking calls.then I started contacting with debasish.he was also lied to me saying the car is been done.its in cleaning.he have arranged another driver.he will reach me in a while.till 7 pm the car didnt reach me.i was literally mad .i was supposed to leave for the occasion.but had no option.i was continuously calling rishov , debasish and also the person who was supposed to carry the card machine.but each and every time some or the other responded but with false statements. Debasish told the car has left without the number plate so it has again returned to fix it.rishov told the car will reach within 15 mins.etc.but the car didnt reach my residence. I kept on following up madly.atlast the car reached my residence at 8 pm.if you think its over.its not.
My car has a rear camera and sensors.which I told rishov to set up properly.as I need them regularly because I have a small garage.and the camera and sensors are needed while reversing. That time both rishov and debasish told thats not problem for them.as they will set up exactly as it was.but at the time of delivery the camera and sensors both werent working.I told the driver that payment wont be made till I get my finished car.he called up debasish .in response debasish told me my camera isnt working and its defective. For information after I met the accident on 10th.11 th and 12th .both days I have driven my car.and reverse it in my garage using camera and sensors. Both were in good condition and working properly.when I told debasish he is lying to me and will not make his payment.he then told me to get the car again to their garage on Saturday and they will see why its not working.I told him fine.i will make the full payment on Saturday itself after the completion. He said it wont be possible , I have to make the payment in full.
He is giving word that he will repair the camera on Saturday. I didnt believe him instead I wanted to speak to his senior.in that case he handed over the phone to rishov .he said me to pay 6000 and keep due 2000 for the camera repair pending.
I paid them 6000 that time only.
I dnt know if any one has this type of experience with GoMechanic -Mondals. Udyog.But to me this 2 guys Rishov Mukherjee and Debasish Mondal are frauds.and please dnt repair any of your car from this point.
Also my request to GoMechanic ( if any body is reading this ) please be genuine with your work and stop assigning these impostors.who will disturb you mentally and exhaust you physically while repairing your car.
I have vowed not to go for Go Mechanic for any repairs in my entire life.
