You may have seen bad movies, but never would you have encountered anything quite like Ashiwini Chaudharys’s Good Boy Bad Boy. The movie is full of absurdities, inanities and clichés coupled with Himesh Reshamiyas nasal music which only makes you cringe.
The story takes place in a college campus.Rajan Malhotra( Tusshar Kapoor) is a good boy who spends his time staying riveted to books and isolated from the youthful jamboree of college life. Even Rajan’s parents want him to leave his uptightness and enjoy life. But Rajan has a sole aim, to study hard and become a responsible citizen of this country.
Raju Malhotra(Emraan) is the bad boy of the college, he is naughty, a prankster and flirtatious. He never concentrates on his studies and barely manages to pass the class.
Story takes a turn when the new principal(Paresh Rawal) decides to bring some discipline into the college by dividing it into three different sections for brilliant, average and week students.By mistake, the IDs of Rajan and Raju are swapped. Rajan finds himself in Raju’s place, and Raju goes among the intellectual students.
However Raju and Rajan decide to stay in their respective classes although they don’t fit in simply because they fall head over heels for their girls. Raju falls for the studious Rashmi(Isha) and Rajan falls for the ditzy Dinky(Tanushree).
After terrific DHOOP, director Ashwini comes up with an apology of a script. For, a film like GOOD BOY BAD BOY offers nothing to the viewer except boredom.The problems with film are many. There’s no meat in the story and to make matters worse, the screenplay is simply disastrous.
Director makes sure that the rest of the technical crew too follows his standards — the sets are tacky, the cinematography is inconsistent, the music is unbearable and the dialogues are middling. The script is so tangled, perhaps the writer was having a real bad day.
Tusshar performs with all sincerity but it’s time he chose the right films.After KYA LOVE STORY HAIN this is another disaster for him .Emraan hams.
Tanushree Dutta glamour show is a waste with short minis.Isha Sherwani is pathetic.
Overall a very bad movie.
