I live in an apartment complex that is surrounded by several potted plants, trees and a huge garden. While such amenities certainly have their advantages, my apartment complex is also a hotbed for mosquitoes.
I have 5 of those devices, into which mosquito mats are to be inserted(what Good Knight refers to as a’Shakti Machine’). My family and I used to religiously insert new mosquito mats into these machines, every night, rather early in the evening(around 5 PM) and used to keep these machines switched on for around 5 to 6 hours, in the hope that the fragrance emanated by these mosquito mats would be potent enough to keep the mosquitoes away. We used to switch off the machines, at least 30 minutes before going to sleep, as we feared that the inhalation of the fumes stemming from the mats, while sleeping, will be harmful to our health!
These mosquito mats do emanate a strong, pleasant and floral type of fragrance and we have seen a few dead mosquitoes lying around, because of the fragrance power of these mats, but I am afraid that these mats lose their’silver power’ within 4 hours as evidenced by the fact, that my family and I have not only been bitten by mosquitoes, in spite of changing the mats, but also have had our sleep cycle interrupted, by the annoying arrival of mosquitoes in the middle of the night! As a result, we had to resort to our two trusted secret weapons: Odomos and agarbathi!
To all those who are struggling to solve the mosquito menace within their homes and hence, get a good nights sleep and keep all sorts of harmful diseases such as malaria and dengue at bay, please buy a pack of Cycle Agarbathis(my family and I use the three in one, 280 gram pack) and a 50 gram tube of Odomos mosquito repellent cream. For maximum effect, make sure that you light 2 to 4 agarbathi sticks(may be even more depending on the area of your home and the extent of the mosquito menace) and make sure that the fragrance of the agarbathi sticks reaches every nook and corner of your home. Next, apply Odomos, at your convenience. This is the daily routine that my family and I now follow, to keep those pests away!
All in all, to say that the effect of Good Knight Silver Power Mosquito mats lasts for 12 hours, is indeed an exaggeration!
