Introduction -
Google meet is a video communication service developed by Google. So far it has proved itself to be one of the most secure and safest apps for online video chats and communication. As we know the world right now is facing a pandemic and emphasis is been put on online learning and work from home during this time Apps like google meet, skype, Zoom has been in use. Among these Google meet according to me is the safest and easiest to use for a newbie in the tech field. Google meet is used by schools for conducting online classes for their students and Google meet along with google calendar is of great use for students.
Working-
Google meets working is pretty simple. The host could start a meeting and generate a link by which other users up to 250 users can join the live meeting. Users get two buttons at the bottom of the screen( As shown in images attached) by which they could turn on / off their microphone and video.
Pricing -
Google meet offers both free and paid service. if you are using it just for personal use the free service is more than enough . while if you using it for a business purpose then you might consider buying a paid version which is not so costly.
Competitors/alternatives-
Google meet has its alternatives in the form of Zoom and skype. In which zoom is quite controversial with its privacy issue and skype is a bit costly and technical. So google meet arises as a pure winner.
Conclusion -
At the end, I am concluding by saying Google meet is best online communication services but it has some glitches and disadvantages. It lacks many features that other platforms offer and it has many glitches. It is available for all platforms android ios and windows.
