Going by the good reviews I bought Huawei Nexus 6P 64GB Silver from Croma on 1/1/2016. Started using it and noticed something is not right with the display. Had read that its display is little off-white and have a little tint. But issue with mine is its tint is not allover, a part of display is light greenish/yellowish and rest is bright white. Along with that the speakers on mine are having issues. Top one is louder and bottom one is quieter than that. So, to get it checked I visited their local service center in my city Gurgaon. They reflashed the firmware, and obviously that didn’t fix the issue. And when issues remained same the attendant over there spoke to her senior on phone and told me, these are not issues but FEATURES of the phone. Even after much arguments and speaking to her senior over phone I was denied any kind of service/DOA.
What I would like to assert here is, that partial tinted display and uneven speaker volume are not FEATURES but DEFECTS for god sake. But their service center is hell bent to deny it. Now going to write to Huawei about this, but after visiting their Service Center and its grim condition I am least hopeful.
My advice to all, wait till issues are sorted with this device. If not, please buy from Amazon/Flipkart only and not from offline retailers, atleast you will have 30 days return period to replace if you notice issues. And at the end, if you ever need service for your handset after initial 30 days, forget it, their service centers are not only outsourced to third parties, but each service center caters to multiple brands and going by their pathetic setup and service, if you ever get issues you will left with nothing but an expensive brick, no matter how many times you visit their service center.
There are hundreds of people online, who are facing exact same issues as mine with their device but still Huawei is adamant to excuse these issues as features of the phone. Never going to waste my hard earned money ever again on a Chinese Crap like Huawei.
