Google is world’s best company and google’s products are used by people on a daily basis; the search engine, the mail box, google map. But even google has a product that failed to get the kind of audience that other companies got. Google plus has existed for a fairly long time but it is the last preference for connecting.
When it comes to being a social media platform, google plus is way behind facebook and twitter. I am more comfortable chatting with my old friends on facebook or checking what is happening or updating events. Google plus somehow does not impress as much as facebook does. The news feed section, photos, profile. I probably have 7 or 8 friends on google plus, only because most people I know don’t use google plus. The look is unappealing and boring. It looks very serious, unlike other websites which are more colorful and have many features which are engaging.
The last time when I would have checked google plus was may be 7 months ago.
I have seen my son use it for work purpose, but for personal use it looks more complex.
