It is the largest search pages on the net, and I think the first, so it is the one used by most.
Everyone uses itdirectly or thru websites in conjunction with google, like indiatimes and yahoo to name a few.
It is very fast, (the time taken to search is given), also there is the option to search within results.
But the fact that it is the largest search engine is a limitation rather than benefit, because it gives you a very large search result(more often than not running into millions) that is often more than we need, and also takes a long time to load with the standard 56.6kbps modem.
I read in the newspaper (todays)that people play a game in which they type a search key (two words only) and if they get only one match then they win. Sounds ’’geeky’’ to me.
Overall I rate it as a great engine.
