Google has redefined the internet and made things very easy for us. I have been using the net for about 7 years.
I have not found anything like google till date....! and something which I am sticking to soo long.
Google has the following product range:
1) Search engine: one of the most powerful and fast search engines on the web. The features I like/use the most:
’’I am feeling lucky’’ :this directs you to website which is first match of the keyword.
define: to check out defination of words for ex: to find the meaning of blog. type in define:blog in the serch bar and we will get all the definations of the word.
launguage options : we have google in various languages like engish, hindi, french etc//
the cached option:in case we find a search and that website is no more , we can look at the page by looking at cached page.
ability of google to seach within documents. pdf files . by doing using the keyword in the end filetype:pdf
calculator: simply enter the calculation you’d like done into the search box.
search tracking numbers of UPS, Fedex, telephone code etc.
2) Google news news.google.com: the one stop place for all the latest news on the web. it searches for more than 500 news websites for lastest news and updated it every 5 minutes.
the news alert feature in news.google.com sends out mail sepecific to some specific topic or keyword one wants to have.
the country specific version of google news help one find region specifc news.
3) Froogle.com : (Smart shopping through Google.) a one stop place for finding prices of products accross different websites at a click of button. It helps in locating stores that sell the item you want to find and pointing you directly to the place where you can make a purchase.
4) gmail.com : the most awaited mail service from google, which will redifine the email on the web.

6) google toolbar and deskbar:It enables you to conduct a Google search from anywhere on the web without opening google.com.
The feature about this I like the most is ’’search site’’ option. in case you are on say mouthshut.com and you want to search something in this website, we just need to key in the keywords in the tool bar and press search site button. we will get all the matching result found.

we can convert between english, spanish, german, french, italian, poutugues. this is one of the most powerful launguage tools which one can find on the net.
8)groups.google.com : Google Groups contains the entire archive of Usenet discussion groups dating back to 1981. These discussions cover the full range of human discourse and provide a fascinating look at evolving viewpoints, debate and advice on every subject from politics to technology. __________________________________________________________________
The best thing about google is that everything on it is for free... I hope google continues to provide such service and inspires other form it too...
