Pornography! That’s the first thing that I think of when I think about google, not because it produces results as good as a car without an engine, but because that’s the first word I ever typed into the search engine. I wasn’t looking for pornography, but I didn’t know what else to type to try it out and that was the very first word that came to mind for some sick twisted reason. Everything that I got was really good quality from what I could tell... at first glance, it was all pornography... so... I decided to dig a little deeper... I found pictures of women urinating, seemed sort of odd, but it related somehow... I then saw links to beastiality... sick, but okay... and page after page, the content related... So... based upon that, I was an instant users... it won me over with nudity and sexual contentment... Now that the story is done, I am going to review the hell out of this site... This site is going to be so reviewed that it’s going to be more used than Jenna Jameson (do a search for pornography on google)... :) I’m going to show you how virtually everything can be found using the word ’pornography as well’. Sort of like the Kevin Bacon game, but with less moves... Anyway!!
First Glance
At first glance, google looks like a website that wants you to input something into a text box that says search... it’s not really the most impressive site, but Alfalfa wasn’t the most attractive man in the world and he nailed Darla, probably the hottest young woman I’ve ever seen. (again search for pornography on google) The flashy crap doesn’t exist! They got rid of that in order to produce search results that are nearly as fast as your husband (assuming you are female... then again could be male... not that there’s anything wrong with that see SEINFELD
After you get past the original asthetics, you’ll notice that the site is laid out almost exactly like any of the other search engines in the world and that makes it really darn easy to use... Just select whether you want to use their directory which is about as worthless as a amish electrical engineer... or you want to use the standard search, which is definitely the Tera Patrik of search (again see pornography in google).
Quality of Results
Lets assume that you wanted to do a search for ’’a search engine that doesn’t suck’’ well, it’s probably not going to give you results for a search engine that doesn’t suck, but it will give you a listing of search engines such as yahoo (see, got mobbed by parents for using adult content), webcrawler (see what not to do when developing a website), and altavista (see pornography littered advertising).
The results that it would display are going to be much higher quality than any of the other search engines, even though google indexes far more websites than any other search engine. The reason for this is simple, google uses special methods of checking to see which sites are better than others, such as measuring link popularity (the number of websites linking to a site) this is then rated by relativity (how closely related the content of the site linking is to that site) and of course by keywords and content matches. Because they require all of this, it’s pretty hard for a porn site to get into a kids humor area of the site... In fact, you rarely ever see pornography in any of the searches that you may do. This is extremely rare these days, especially on sites such as Alta Vista (did I just say the unholy site twice in the same review???)
Not to mention the results are fetched in less time than it takes rabies to destroy your dog’s brain... or what little it had of one.
Advertising Aspect
Google also has a little advertising area on their site. The advertising involves advertising bidding on popular keywords and paying each and every time that it is displayed regardless of whether or not anyone clicked on it. The links that are lightly colored differently than the other search results on the page, those are paid for... So, don’t click on them, because that will stop websites from advertising on google...
Basically, you go in and setup a control panel and you start to bid on keywords. It will give you the approximate average rate of clicks and it would generate a price based upon the total amount of traffic that your site could receive... You can deposit as much as you want into your account and you can bid on virtually any keyword that your heart desires.
Overall
By far, Google is the best search engine around. Not only are the results of the highest quality, but they also have the fastest loading search results. You will rarely ever, if never at all have to deal with any form of customer service as everything on google runs so smoothly and so perfectly.
The site is very plain, but that is more or less geared towards what a search engine should be. Users don’t come to look at graphic images when they come to a search engine, then again, they always could be looking... but it’s sort of unlikely.
Basically, I use google, you should use it, and everyone else should use it. The results can’t be beated, they are basically 100% and we ahve amazing customer service as well...
