Gopaisa is in operation since around 3 years. The way this company makes money is by directing the customer to his desired online shopping portal. When a customer buy something from an e-commerce site then they pay gopaisa a certain amount as commission depending on the value of the transaction and after keeping a major portion of commission a small share is pass on to the buyer or customer. It is a good concept and the buyer is actually in a win-win situation because apart from getting the discounts he also get some amount by purchasing through gopaisa. Also, through this website one can search offers available with different e-commerce websites and also get promo codes to get a discount which is normally around 5-10%.
One of the major issue I have faced with this company is they have a very poor tracking system of transactions. I have done numerous transactions through them till date and a number of successful transactions are even not reflected in their system. When I raised a complaint with the customer care I was told that they can’t find any details about such transactions. Also, it take almost 2-3 months time to pay for a successful transaction. They pay the customer when they get paid from the e-commerce website and the process is very slow. Once the user has more than Rs. 100 in his account he can use the amount either for a recharge, bill payment, paytm wallet transfer, mobikwik wallet transfer and can transfer the money directly to his bank account. However, the process is very slow and it takes a lot of time for the amount to reflect in the bank account.
At present gopaisa is accessible through website and app. I don’t like either of them because first the site is very slow and takes a long time to sign-in. Second while transferring to the other site gopaisa gets stuck a number of times and the process of transition is pathetic. The user interface is very poor and for a new user it is very difficult to use the features & functions smoothly. On the dashboard a user get the options like deals, coupons & cashbacks, Refer & Earn, Sale & Offers etc. They also have a referral program in place where on each referral a user get Rs. 50 which again sometimes hard to get because of poor tracking system.
So, as per my experience on this website I can assure you it is a reliable site. All the confidential info. like the bank details, credit, debit card and personal details of the customer are safe. However, the customer service is very poor and in case of any issue with a transaction it is very difficult to get in contact with the customer support. They do have a customer care number which is always busy and you may have to wait
for a long time. The get in touch facility through email is also available but again the reply or resolution is not provided instantly.
