Gopichand has made all indians proud by winning the england championship.he did this against all odds.because of him others are now getting interested in the sport of badminton which was neglected in india.gopichand has worked hard
and now is the role model for many young players.
he is the second indian to this and after 2 decades
he was ranked at no.10 before he won and after he became the champion he is at no.5.lets say it took 4 foreigners
to beat 1 indian.first he was not known by many people
in india but now he is famous all over the world.he is very
nice to the people he plays with and is very down to earth
he is indeed a great person and an excellent player.it wont
take him long to be no.1.
