I am writing this review to make public aware of the extremely unprofessional behavior and poor services of Gossip Theatre Bandra.
I booked tickets in advance for the 7pm show on Saturday night. When I reached the theatre, there was no one at the ticket counter. After waiting for 15 minutes, one staff member finally showed up and told me the show is houseful and they cannot let me in even though I had a confirmed booking!
This is completely unacceptable. If the show was houseful, they should not have sold the tickets online in the first place. The staff was completely rude and bluntly told me "we cannot help you" instead of apologizing or trying to accommodate me in the next show.
The theatre was in poor condition with torn seats, dirty floors and bathrooms. Food stalls were overpriced and had limited options. I am appalled that a prime theatre in a neighborhood like Bandra has such pathetic management and hygiene standards.
They have no seniors or supervisors to escalate customer complaints. When I tried contacting the manager, he did not respond at all. Clearly the theatre has no value for its customers nor any intent to improve.
I urge all movie-goers to avoid this theatre at all costs. With such unprofessional staff, false assurances, poor infrastructure and zero grievance redressal, Gossip Theatre Bandra does not deserve your business. I will definitely be filing a legal complaint against them for cheating customers and poor services.
It is a shame that such places continue to operate only due to lack of good alternatives in the area. I hope this review saves others from wasting time and money on this terrible theatre experience. Please choose your movie outings wisely!
