I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with GoWarranty regarding my TV repair request. My ordeal started on December 28, 2024, when I raised a complaint about my TV’s Auto-Off issue. After multiple follow-ups, a technician finally visited on January 4, 2025, and took the TV for inspection.
After waiting another week and constantly chasing their team for updates, I was informed that the issue was due to an IC fault, which, to my shock, was not covered under warranty. This was despite the fact that GoWarranty’s own website states that motherboard-related issues, including board panel, logic board, and PCBs, are covered under the warranty.
When I extended my product warranty with GoWarranty, I was clearly assured that motherboard-related issues would be covered except for physical damage. Now, they are claiming that an IC fault is not covered, which was never disclosed beforehand. Their lack of transparency and misleading commitments have caused me significant inconvenience.
To make matters worse, their service team has been completely unresponsive and unhelpful, making false commitments and delaying responses. Even their service partner confirmed over the phone that the issue should be covered under warranty, yet GoWarranty refused to honor it.
After multiple emails and follow-ups, the only response I received was that my request was rejected due to internal shorting caused by overheating, which they claim is not covered. If this is the case, why wasn’t this clearly stated in the warranty terms when I purchased it? This is nothing but a way to deny genuine claims and mislead customers.
This was my first and last experience with GoWarranty, and I strongly advise others to stay away. They are not reliable, do not honor their commitments, and provide terrible customer support.
Avoid GoWarranty at all costs!
