Gozocabs.... What do I say about this company but dont book them even if it is the last option. They cheat you, they will promise you many things & once the booking is done they send the worst vehicles. We booked a SUV through Gozocabs for Chandigarh to Manali for 19th Jan 24. We were only 4 passengers but still we booked an SUV bcos we wanted to travel comfortably and insisted to send an Innova with Sofa seats since we were all senior citizens traveling.
Previous day of travel they sent vehicle details but on the day of travel early morning again the vehicle was changed & new cab details were sent. And when the car arrived to our horror it was bucket seat & not Sofa seat as mentioned in our preference. We told the driver that you dont have Innova with sofa seats, he said yes we have so we told him then why did you get this vehicle when we had already mentioned that we want Sofa seats only & not bucket seats. We told him to change the vehicle on which he said its not possible now. So we tried to contact GOZO but none of our calls were answered neither did we get a call back in spite of leaving MSG to call back.
The car condition was very bad, it looked very old with most uncomfortable seats, in spite of booking an SUV we did not get the comfort of an SUV at all. When we asked the driver the running of the vehicle he was not ready to disclose in spite of asking several times, he just said ZERO kar Diya hai on the start of the trip.
Halfway through the journey, he revealed that the vehicle was 2010 model which means more than 13 years old & it had run more than 5lacs km. And when you enquire to book the vehicle they claim that they only send vehicles which are not more than 3-4 years old. And to my horror when we finally got a callback from Gozo that too on the pretext of booking for our return journey & I tried to confront Ms. Kajal who had done our booking that do you know what kind of vehicle had come for us she said No so on this I told her that you dont have any criteria or knowledge of what kind of vehicle is registered under your fleet of vehicles you just send whatever vehicle is available without knowing how old or condition of the vehicle. And also on making the 25% advance payment, we got a long MSG of terms & conditions which said that the balance amount will be paid only on the completion of journey whereas we were asked to pay for the Diesel immediately after starting the journey when we said that we have been told to pay only on journey completion the driver called the owner of the vehicle who started arguing with us so we had no option but to pay instead of wasting time. And the other condition was to not take too many breaks though in our case the driver was taking more number of breaks & longer breaks than us so shouldnt they be sending a copy of the terms & conditions to the vendor also regarding all this? The driver was wasting more time than us bcos of him we reached our destination late by atleast 1 1/2 hrs.
After hearing to all this Ms. Kajal assured me that our complaint has been raised & we will get a callback with a resolution & that we will not have to call again... it was a lie its been more than 30hrs still I am waiting for the callback.
We have made the full payment to the driver but we want a compensation/refund for the harassment we have gone through because of the negligence of Gozocabs
