Grand Hyatt - Santacruz Gold Member Useless app: To start with I am a Gold member with Hyatt, as with any other Hotel brand in the world. And I am surprised and disgusted with the Guest Service Hyatt provided during my last stay there.
Grand Hyatt - Santacruz Not Clear what were they up to: During check out, I was informed that the system was down and that they could not process the bill. This is understandable and cannot blame anyone for it. So I provided them my credit card details with my Business Card, for Subsequent processing and sending me a copy of the invoice. The receptionist at the hotel, PROMISED me that the invoice would be sent to me before the end of the day, which never happened.
Grand Hyatt - Santacruz irritatingSo I called Hyatt Mumbai, the next day to inquire (btw my card was charged for the stay). I was asked to call the Account team. Which I did, where I was put on hold for about 10 mins when the call got disconnected.
I called again, the same story.
Grand Hyatt - Santacruz Non-Responsive: I tried again the next day, This time I reached the accounts team, and they asked me to send an email to the Manager in Charge, which I did. Guess what, I did not hear from anyone nor receive an email from them.
Grand Hyatt - Santacruz they can continue for really long: The next day I tried again and was transferred to the International Reservation Team(god only knows why) and the representative there told me that I need to call back Grand Hyatt Mumbai for my queries. and yes he did mention that the email address which was provided to me the previous day was Wrong.
Grand Hyatt - Santacruz You cannot survive their torture : So, I called up the hotel again, this time I was put on hold for another 6 mins before I reached the Manager in charge. Though I did get the invoice this time, I was informed that the delay is because of my fault, ie.e. I provided them the wrong email address(this after having provided them with my Business Card) and they have my Personal Details on their records(I am a gold member).
Technical Snag is one thing, but out-rightly lying is seriously unethical.
From this point on, staying at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai is seriously out of question.
