Some films are just made to make a mockery of the audience.Grand Masti can stake claim to be the flag-bearer in this segment.
Right from the beginning act to the painful climax, I had difficulty in staying awake.A long hard day at work and then equally difficult to sit through this punishingly dull film.
Jokes are too silly and hardly have any LOL moments.Plot (if any) is straight-lifted from the director’s previous film, presumably the prequel of this one.
Performances are a notch below ordinary. Ritesh Desmukh manages to match the impossible feat of providing the same damn perplexed look throughout his career and this one is no different.The same with Aftab Shivdasani.Every time he yells ’I HAVE AN IDEA’, you feel like getting up and thrashing the whole team up like anything.
The less said about Vivek Oberoi, the better. Here, was an actor who started with COMPANY, almost replicated it with RAKTH CHARITRA and now comes up with GRAND MASTI.
Mark my words, this film is sure to turn in a goldmine for the people involved. But little it did to evoke a laugh from me or for many who spend a hefty amount to get 3 hrs of time well spent.
