We are just back from Mahabaleshwar, we stayed at The Grand Resort! The experience was really good.... It is a old yet classic resort, you can enjoy indoor games, swimming pool, and a surroundings full of fresh air and all greenery around.
Talking about the accommodation, the rooms are good and specious, airy but the cleanliness needs to be improved... the only thing bothered us was hot water, since its a hill station, you need hot water 24 hours in bathroom. Here it is restricted only for 3 hours in the morning. The location is a bit aloof from the market crowd yet it adds charm to the experience.
The best thing about Grand resort is the staff over there, they are really good and hospital. The room service is quick and the food is good. You may also get a chance to attend some special programs like magic show.
The gardens, children park and forest is good.
