What made me read this book as an adult?
First when I saw this book, just looking at the name of the book and the beautiful book cover stole my heart. It has the glittering turquoise colors leaves all over on front and back cover. It didnt even matter to me, although it was for the children.
WhatI liked or disliked about this book?
Liked:
There are 22 stories, and in each story, there is beautiful morality and magnificently told in the form of stories.
Black and white illustrations are used appropriately for every story, which makes perfect sense to readers.
The stories are short and swift to read.
In todays digital age, most children are not aware of many things, but this book gives children good moral humility and gentleness.
This book is for young people as well.
I personally have my favorite stories.
Doctor, Doctor
Who Was the Happiest of Them All?
The Enchanted Scorpions
The Horse Trap
A Treasure for Ramu
Five Spoons of Salt
How the Seasons Got Their Share
When Yama Called
Well, there are more, but those 8 stories are the best, those stories had a beautiful morality about life, behavior, and honesty.
What I disliked?
I think those stories can be read by young readers, but for young children, its a bit hard for them to read. But if any adult will read a story daily for them, then the kids can find this Grandmothers Bag of Stories very exciting and excited.
Since the title is Grandmas Bag of Stories, some stories are not told by Grandma. I assume this should not happen because the concept should follow the title.
My comments:
I recommend this book to anyone seeking simple and exciting stories. The language is simple and user-friendly. The bag of grandmother stories is the complete bundle of imaginations and morality. No specific age bar exists for reading this book. Perhaps more than children, adults, and adults will enjoy the reading.
If anyone among you is seeking a new childrens book, please give your reading to BaabuBrown & His School Holidays by Shaheen Kazi.
