This year on our anniversary we planned for an exotic continental lunch at grasshopper, as heard by the reviews and some fashion mag.
The place is really beautifull, lush green and an old farm house look, but the food and courtesy dissappointed to the core.
At the time of seeking appointment we were informed that its a seven course meal costing 1200 Rs. per head but keen for an exotic experience we carried on.
the first dish was two pieces of baked brinjal(two small pieces) with sprinkled parmesian cheese(actually sprinkled)
the second one was half piece of avocado with honey syrup
the third dish was two 4 inch pieces of asparagus sticks dipped in some syrup and fried basil leaves -two in number
the fourth dish was salad with few pieces of walnut-salad had all kind of leaves found in any of the Namdhari fresh-so thats an experience that at one go you can taste them all
the fifth was a lil elaborate with baked mushroom and green peas of the size of a pastry
the sixth I cld not remember
the seventh a sweet dish they said it is some truffle to me seem life a cookie size souffle
there was one waiter through out the stay, the lady who took the appointment did not even appear
so one can decide on its own that you can appreciate such exotic food or not
For me continental food shld have included either one pasta or lasangne dish or smthg more known to us which can act as a filler, in my opinion it was a complete waste of money time and energy
