I ordered on 18th October an LG microwave and paid online by card. Next day the item was delivered.
It had no proper packing just a bubble sheet wrapping. There was no manual only a xerox copy of invoice. When I plugged it and switched on I saw flames inside and lot of smoke! Obviously it has not been put through any check! Immediately I called the person who had contacted me for delivering and asked him to take it back. He could have easily done that since it was just half an hour after delivery.
Instead he sent a technician after two days. He checked and reported that the diode and condenser are faulty. He spoke to his company and told me that the unit will be replaced. I waited for few days and no replacement came. The mobile numbers of both these gentleman were not answering! Then I sent two emails to ceodesk@greendust.com the address of Mr.Chatuvedi, the CEO which was given in the backside of invoice. I didn’t receive any acknowledgement nor reply. Then I called their toll free number.
To my astonishment they had no update on the supply and technical problem or replacement. I had to explain the whole thing to him. I continued to ring up again and again for at least 10 times spread over a month. Every time a new person will pick up and I have to explain the whole thing again. They dont seem to have any system of recording and follow up.
First hey promised to replace the unit then said they dont have another one instead offered another make at a higher price! I declined and asked for repayment. They said it will take 24 days! Till 26th November, i.e. after 38 days of receiving a defective product I am still to receive the refund! In the whole process there is no email from them on the matter. Obviously they dont want to write anything that one can use to complain to any authority. In the meantime I bought a new unit from Reliance which was just 500 Rs more and expect the refund will be made one day.
This experience has made me feel that this is a company run not by honest entrepreneurs but by some crooks who want to rotate the public money. My money is with them for nearly 40 days with no interest. If similar is the fate so many receiving doubtful products then the money for rotation in their hands could be huge.
Avoid this company totally. For a slightly higher price you can buy a more dependable product from the super market
