I have installed this firewall in my office to protect data leak and to prevent some of my employees to access internet so that they can concentrate on their work but this piece of scrap is such a useless thing that we cant even send a email (with attachment) from outlook and we have tried every possible email client like outlook express / thunderbird / Eudora / opera email with browser but it didn’t solve our problem and in reply to our complaint these people says that our service providers (indiatimes meramail) infrastructure is not very good then we have tried gmail (the most powerful email service) but gmail also fails with this piece of scrap and we have purchased new domain and tested with spectranet email (a world class service provider) but spectranet also fails in front of this firewall.
During our initial inquiry the sales person told us that they are giving a tata truck engine in maruti 800 car just to pacify us that their firewall is world class and they say that their firewall is superior then ciso. This piece of scrap hangs almost 2 times daily and we have to restart it again to work properly and this entire process takes 5 to 6 minutes.
I have two internet connections with 1 mbps speed each. I have even offered them to deduct some percentage and take back this scrap but they don’t agree that their firewall is just a best firewall and the problem is with our infrastructure or with our email service provider or with our internet connection so the conclusion is the whole world is wrong and their product is OK!! Pls note we have tried to send mails and browse internet without their firewall it works fine we have sent a 26 mails of 8 to 10 MB each in a single day without their firewall.
So my suggestion is if you even see their firewall pls close your eyes other wise it may block your mind also
