How: The website gives the details of the deals. You need to make an online payment. Take the voucher printout with you and redeem the deal at the service centre.
My Experience:
So I have used two deals via Groupon. One was a total disaster, but nothing to do with groupon and the other was a treat for the stomach!:)
My first deal bought via groupon was for Bookmycab.com for Rs19. I have written a full review about the pathetic service I got at bookmycab.com. The deal was easy to use and I bought the coupon via the groupon website. I couldn’t use it because the bookmycab.com didn’t have cabs for service. So, yes, you do need to take care of bogus deals too.
The second deals I purchased was for Rajdhani restaurant. It was thali for two at Rs.599. It was a tastt deal, I couldnt resist:D I ate at Rajdhani all the delicious food served. It was a hearty meal served well!
Pros:
-Great deals of restaurants, spas and hotels.
-The final payment becomes affordable
-Easy layout/user interface
Cons:
-The payment has to be done online
-Know the dealers before, the website does have some bogus deals.
-I have heard that groupon customers are treated inferiorly since they have discounted coupons.
Last Word: I had a mixed experience, but still would love to give groupon another try. Recommending for the good deals!
