The Groww investment platform has critical bugs and glitches. While I was drawn to its clean and simple user interface, I encountered multiple issues with mutual fund transactions, including incorrect folio redemptions, malfunctioning systematic transfer plans(STPs), problems importing external funds, and transactions getting stuck etc., .
Here are a few issues I faced:
When trying to redeem two liquid funds, it went ahead and redeemed two external regular funds instead. The platform incorrectly showed those external folios as local liquid funds. This has made me question whether similar errors have occurred in the past. This looks to be serious issue with their import external funds feature?
One of my redemption transactions was stuck for 4-5 days, which was only resolved after I contacted customer support.
In another instance, an STP was deducted from the source fund, but the units did not transfer to the destination fund after several days.
Additionally, one STP transaction showed the destination fund as "external, " despite it being purchased through Groww.
