We were 4 families went on year end trip to Madurai. We stayed at GRT residency. Hotel is good when it comes to the room quality and over all.
Only the customer service part needs improvement. You need to be careful when you negotiating with them on package( which includes breakfast, Dinner or lunch) and on the facility they are going to provide with in the package.
When its come to customer service / guest service .they have to learn a lot. they have to understand that it is not about money making but relationship building.which will help them in long term.
Apart from this I would say it is little bit costly may be because we visited Madurai during peak season.
My take is. you should try it but with very careful negotiation and make sure you have a copy of the final deal which you have made with them.
