Thinking of a color handset that has it all? 65K colors, camera, flap phone, incredible earpiece(loud enough to almost act like a hands free), 2 batteries, “ it has it all sir” that’s what the proud executive boasted about just when one is already puzzled with the number of handsets and offers available with reliance.
If u really want to know the phone itself is pretty good design from a company no one’s heard of, and it really feels good to shut and open the flap in style or anger every once in a while. Amazing phone with simple easy to use navigation keys, the keyboard layout is average and menu categories and subcategories do take a little time to get use to. Simple and elegant is not something that the color scheme and font’s have been able to achieve ( everything is in bright colors! Even the fonts. the design of the hands free is particularly something that I was amazed and should get a nomination for uniqueness and quality.The charger has a unique port so if you travel out do definitely remember to take the charger along or even better always remember to carry it around primarily because even with 2 fully charged batteries with you it is almost certain that by the time one comes back home both of them are drained out!!.
Yes if u have not guessed it yet let me impress you with the figures, after using this phone for about 8 months my current standby time is just about 6 rings( without being on vibrator mode), and if I open the flap the screen takes up almost all that juice from the batteries resulting in one desperately looking for a plug point to connect the charger to not to mention loosing the call due to phone shutdown. If by any chance you are out( and that Is where you intend to use a mobile phone) the hands free really comes in handy giving a talk time of about 2 minutes, just enough to convey the message across that I am looking for a plug point with my charger in hand and to make the conversation quick and to the point before the call disconnects. Anyhow for those people who have this handset I truly understand what they might go through.
but hey look on the bright side… for those who have a problem putting down the phone this is kind of a good feature, the handset is best for those who need to force cut down on phone bills (added advantage) not that you can make any!! With standby time of 2 hours and talk time of 30 seconds. The case might be different with others varying battery results, but that too would be a max of 4-6 hours standby and 10-15mins of talk time…. So if u are about to choose this handset even after reading the figures… my advice ’’go right ahead and buy it’’.
