Gujarat technological university is the biggest university of Gujarat.They are providing UG, PG and Ph.d courses to the students.It having a bunch of colleges under the hierarchy.Course content was end-less.There should be a limited course content with quality teaching.Courses of cross functional branches are similar in many cases.
They don’t have pre-decided plan for exams.Dates of exams are declared in a previous month.Exam schedule was not proper as in some of the exams 10 days of holidays are there and in some cases 5 papers are there in a sequence.
Exam results are also ambiguous as anybody can pass examination and the cleverest of the students can get remedial for no reasons. People who have written rubbish in supplementary will get better score than that of quality writing. Sometimes they judge you on a quantity basis.Remedial papers should be easy enough to get passed but in case of GTU, it is not the case.
Hard copy of the original results will be available after 8 months of exam and your degree certificate will take 1.5 years to collect which is very longer period comparatively. They don’t have vision of developing students for the quality research and masters study.Ultimately, administration is poor and there is no extracurricular activity involved.
Some colleges like Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya, DDIT, Nirma are very good colleges which is not having GTU as their curriculum.Placements are in good numbers for the eligible students and no. of students are also less compared to the GTU which ensures quality study.They have largest alumni base as it is the biggest university in Gujarat.
