One, a greedy, 78-year-oldproprietor of a Lucknow haveli of vague provenance. The other, an especially die-hard inhabitant decided not to abandon the premises no matter what. They quarrel constantly. Is anything but a pretty sight. In any case, it is entertaining okay particularly when the composing is bound with the wacky mind.
Gulabo Sitabo, pitched as "Amazon Prime Video", makes a reasonable showing of catching the high points and low points of the tussle between the men, whose cards are completely spread out on the table and there is thus no equivocalness about what they are doing. Be that as it may, neither one nor the other - nor, obviously, the crowd - knows how it will all show up for them and the structure they live in. Also, that keeps the interest level high in Shoojit Sircars new comedic show.
The best thing about Gulabo Sitabo, scripted by Juhi Chaturvedi, is that it isnt attempting to be a shout. The silliness springs from the language and the way of its conveyance. It wont make them move on the floor. Yet, it will inspire gentle laughs each time Mirza played by Amitabh Bachchan and Baankey Rastogi played by Ayushmann Khurrana have a go at one another over frivolous issues that gradually snowball wild.
Both Vijay Raaz, as easy as could be, Brijendra Kala is staggering. Shrishti Shrivastava merits exceptional notice. Last however not the least, Farrukh Jafar is a flat out pleasure. Overall one-time watch movie. Gulabo Sitabo is recommended for your lockdown.
