Ranveer did full justice to the role and so did Sushant Chaturvedi in his character MC Sher.
The movie revolves around how an underground artist gets to fame by pursuing what he believes in. Not following what everyone wants him to be but instead breaking all the barriers and living his dream.
Movie gives a clear message to the youth and the music and lyrics of the songs are truly amazing.
The lyrics have motivating message for the people and how one rises in life.
Very well directed by Zoya Akhtar and a brilliant cinematography is visible in certain scenes specifically in the song Kaisi ye Doori he where by the medium of songs they are telling how different they are and yet in the same condition.
Music is really worth listening to.
Overall it is worth watching for one time.
