Bhatt's commit another ''Gunaah''

“Gunaah” may be a new concept in terms of Story but falls flat in the Screenplay & directional level.

The Cast

Bipasha Basu had done a decent job in the film which is one of the major asset of the film

Dino morea looks wooden he is more a model.

Irfan is first rate as a bad cop.

Technical Crew.

The films major drawback being the Screenplay which has nothing impressive throughout.

The Songs comes as speed breakers and slow down the pace of the movie (none of them are impressive)

Cinematography is OK

Editing is loose, many scenes in 2nd half is too lengthy.

Technically the film is average.

Direction

If “Gunaah” is average at technical level, it falls flat in the direction. Amol Shetge, The director has not contributed to the movie. As it seems as a straight adaptation of the Script. The script is full of loopholes and many things leave a question mark to the viewers.

The second half of the film is the testing time for viewers as song sequences (except the quawali) may make you boring. Many sequences in the movie make you remember movies like “Gulaam” and “Yeh Zindagi ka Safar”

Things like what made Dino join the “Kranthikari” group? Has the impurities in the system got cleared by the death of a bad cop? Remains un answered.

Talented actor like Ashutosh Rana is wasted in a small role.

Overall

The much-hyped movie from the “Raaz” team falls below average in all levels. Bipasha’s decent performance supported by Irfan may make you sit throughout the movie.

Mukesh Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt and Director Amol Shetge commits another ’’GUNAAH’’ to the public.
