This is for anyone who cares to read. I have been married for 12 years and have had five abortions all between 2 and 6 months. I had consulted many hospitals with unfortunately no success. Yes, I agree that I had to wait for a long time. But I met Dr. Devika Gunasheela who spent time trying to find the cause for each one of my abortions and asked me to get a few investigations done. I was then taken by a junior doctor who explained the whole process to me. As per doctor’s advice I was given 3 injections of my husband’s blood and asked me to try for pregnancy. Yes I do understand that I cannot see Dr. Devika Gunasheela every visit because it is an extremely busy hospital. But I did know that in case of emergency/problems Dr. Devika Gunasheela would also be there to look after me. They have held my hand firmly throughout my pregnancy. I have been blessed with a healthy baby boy.
