I would like to mention that Gupte hospital has proven their name in OBGYN area and we also had same experience. Dr and Mrs. Gupte both gave us the confidence and guided on regular basis since our first appointment. The Hospital is also having best infra and service is also remarkable.
Still there is a room for improvement and explaining below.
A] Due to minor symptoms, the new born baby was transferred to nearest specialty hosp and we were also informed about that. The problem happened when we reached that specialty Hosp and they requested to deposit 30, 000 INR, which was NOT at all informed by anybody at Gupte Hosp. When they referred and coordinated all arrangement, why can’t they inform that you’ll be asked to deposit such large amount. Also that Speciality Hosp can charge Gupte HOSP and Gupte should charge us when the mother gets discharged. Can you expect a person carrying such large amount of cash in his pocket always?
B] Another problem is accepting payment via Electronic Transfer or through cheque or debit card. When hospital is giving us the bill with all break-up why can’t they accept bill payment in cheque or electronic transfer? If you go to hotel and your bill amount is more than 500 Rs, they also accept debit card/credit cards. Here we are talking about min amount 40, 000 INR.
There are other minor suggestions which we have submitted to HOSP but overall their experience is nice. I hope they will hear patients feedback and make improvements.
