My baby got delivered in Gupte Hospital on 6th May 2013 and the experience was awful. Wrong medical treatment: Doctor failed to check the baby before he was discharged. My wife had fever after the operation.
Infrastructure: The hospital is NOT Air Conditioned! Only the rooms are AC but the hospital has fans (will remind you of Govt hospitals). Big issue when you visit with pregnant mothers and babies in summer. By the way, our super deluxe room AC and TV malfunctioned.
Medical Care: Only 1 decent doctor is there (S. Gupte)...the rest of the doctors are amateurish and wont make any decisions without Madam’s or Sir’s permission. Dr. Gupte hardly gets time to visit patients after operations. In my wife’s care a total of 10 mins in 6 days (despite she having post operation fever)
Admin: The administration dept is the worst. They got my wife’s name wrong 5-6 times (even in the final bill). They final discharge papers got wrong delivery time of the baby.
Package: There is no package at all. The package mentioned at the beginning is only an estimate and does NOT include medicine cost (10K+), each day room rent is charged separately, Admin cost (1500), 1.5% charged extra for credit cards, 5K security deposit!
Food: Pathetic taste. We also found a hair in the patient food!
