’Gurgoan’ is the story of a family in the city Gurgoan.
Story:
This story belongs to the family of Kehari Singh(Pankaj Tripathi), where his son is Nikka Singh(Akshay Oberoi), daughter Preet Singh(Ragini Khanna) and Kehari Singh’s wife Karma Devi(Shalini Vats) are living. Kehari has kept most of the land in the name of his daughter Preet and Nikka wants to open them gym but it was not permissible on belhalf of the father. This is a family where no one is comfortable with each other, but the food on the dinning table is taken together. Twist in the story comes when Nikka looses lots of money in the betting. To repay it, he go for multiple tactics, due to which his entire family is affected and the story reaches to conclusion. You will have to watch the movie to know .
Direction:
While the story of the movie reminds some of Anurag Kashyap’s films, direction, screenplay, camera work is amazing. Also backdrop is good. Great work on the screenplay. Editing of the film is absolutely accurate. Feature of the screenplay is that it attracts your attention even on a particular issue. The story is fine, which could have been better, as well as the dialogues between the characters are not so clear, which causes confusion somewhere.
Performance of the Star-cast:
In the film, Pankaj Tripathi has acted very well again. Shalini Vats plays the role of wife and mother very well. Aamir Bashir and Ragini Khanna are making good surprise. Akshay Oberoi has also worked hard for the film which is visible on screen. The film is very good according to the performance.
Film Music:
The music of the film and the background score is amazing, which runs along with the story.
