Again a classic movie about a person and his commited dream, passion, hardwork and.... success...this story is about a guy named GURUKANT DESAI (AB, whose styling and costumes r very similar to dhirubhai ambani) whose dreams takes him through ISTAMBUL, TURKY. and he starts his service in a big compny as an oil containor vendor and ends with india’s biggest compny owner.a man, always smiling and having excellent capability of judging the personalities, starts his business named SHAKTI CORPORATION by putting out a public issue.he makes people truly believe that the share holder of the compny itself is an owner of the compny and thats how he wins amongst all.his only mission is to become the most successful person in business and he caould do any damn thing for that. whether to produce double of the total permitted capacity by putting extra spinning machines unauthorised or by praising the ministers and officials. b
By seeing incredible growth, a polite newspaper owner ( mithunda ) who was a godfather of guru, started a battel with guru. a news reporter was also with him ( r.madhavan ) who was going to become his jamaai later on by wedding his daughter who was very beautiful and pleseant though she was sufferin from multiple sclerosis ( vidya balan )
And from here..... the real movie starts.we can see the rise, fall and rise of guru by his mind power without hurting his opponents.coming to cast performances....abhishek - - > ill just say this is the ever ever best performance given by him. and im damn damn sure that this is the most unique and memoriable performance. the way of smilin, styling, expressions, innoncence, business tricks, costumes... everything is just perfect. I m not saying anymore abt. him... u just watch it and ull get it.aishwarya - - > a wife who always sees his husband’s prosparity even when he is paralysed.a blindly faithful, supportive, encouraging,
Loving wife. she is not having her identity.she is only ment for guru(AB) in this movie.mithunda - - > this person is having very good eyes.u can see him through his eyes only. he has played a fair role. all other characters have played fair role but the major attraction is abhishek.coming to dialogues.... I m commenting on dilogues before the direction and thats the only reason why the movie is so catchy. the dilogue delevary of AB is awsome. there r somany touchy one liners which makes great impact in the movie.i ll not quote anyone of them because it will spoil yor movie mood.coming to music.... excellent work done by rahamn. superb background score.malllika sherawat is unnecessory thing in this movie.direction.....
This man ( mani ) has done a superb jobe.he has put a gujarati village set very beautifully. the last 15 mins r the magic of maniratnam.overall.... it is a pure maniratnam kind a movie... so dont go if u like the other kinds of. it will be blessings to the mani ( and also money) lovers.at last just advicing one thing, pls dont " just watch " the movie but observe the movie.... and I m sure ull give me your wonderful feedbacks......so go and watch this excellent movie which shows indiaand indian policies, which shows the economy and trades, which shows a persons burning desire and his achievements.......and........ enjoy.......
