Abhishek at its best................ :)

Mani Ratnam’s flawless direction and Abhishek Bachchan’s superlative performance simply leave you speechless by the end of the film.

Guru will silence all those detractors who say that Abhishek doesn’t have a talent for acting. The actor not just surprises you, he shocks you with his extraordinary performance. Gosh, how come this hidden potential of Abhi never came forth before? Perhaps it is Ratnam who knows how to get the best, or even more than that, out of Abhi.

Mani Ratnam, the master of his craft, arguably surpasses all his previous works in ‘Guru’. Apart from its technical soundness, ‘Guru’ tells a story that is deeply gripping and highly inspiring. It is the tale of a man who never gives up. The protagonist of the film is a perennial fighter and an incurable optimist.

This movie is inspired by the industrialist and the business tycoon late Shri Dhirubhai Ambani and it is based on his biography. Surprisingly not everything is related to his real life story.

A few changes have been made here and there just to make it more fictious, but one can easily relate it to Shri Dhirubhai Ambani. Abhishek Plays Gurukant Desai who hails from a small village in gujurat. He goes against his dad’s wishes and goes to Istanbul to make a living. After learning all the tricks of the business he lands up in bombay with a wife and 25000 rs which he gets as a dowry to start his own business. Initially he faces a lot of problems starting his own business, but   with his wittiness he is able to start his new business

He soon starts becoming popular among others and opens his own factory. He climbs up the ladder to become one of the powerful, aggresive business tycoon in india. In this process he makes lot of enemies too who are determined to bring him down.   In the end he cleverly defends all the charges that the government officials have made against him and manages to escape cleverly.

Mani Ratnam : Well what can be said about this genuis. He has proved his brilliance again in the form of technicality of the movie.Hats off the real guru for making such an excellent movie. He has given us a lot of hit movies in the past years. His movies like Roja, Dil se, Bombay, Yuva have made us laugh, cry   and ponder over certain issues and now his recently released movie Guru  has already made a place in many people’s hearts. He doesnt decide the climax of the movie, instead he leaves it for people like us to judge it according to our own perceptions.

A.R.Rehman **: Do I even have to say the words?  An awesome job again by this guy.

Abhishek Bachhan : He has shown a lot of maturity in this role. He has different shades to his character in this movie playing a  young guy in the beginning of the movie n progressing to play a stubborn business tycoon in the later half of the movie. He has a perfect body language. Also a lot of traces can be found of Amitabh bachhan in some of the scenes. This role is one of his best performances so far and I am sure he will bag the best actor award for this one.

Aishwarya Rai : I don’t like her as an actress, but this time I must say she has proved everyone wrong with her acting skills. The perfect wife material in the second half of the movie is awesome. proved right a saying BEHIND EVERY SUCESSFUL MAN THERE IS A WOMAN.

Madhavan : **He has a very neat role in this movie. Playing an honest reporter and he carries it off really well.

Vidya Balan **: She does not really have much to do in the movie, but the short role that was given to her was enacted very well.

Mithun : He has made a great comeback and handles the character with a lot of emotion and sensitivity.

A GREAT MOVIE TO SEE AND NOT TO MISS
