WEll it was one day I was strolling in Lokhandwala lukin at some chicks(grrrrrrrr). Suddenly I was attaracted by a place called Guru da Dhaba. not cos its well made or awesome interiors but cos the name was painted on top of the dhaba’s wall which I have only seen in north dhaba’s and none in mumbai.I live alone in Mumbai, originally frm Dehradoon. I have been Lukin for some good place to eat food since years, more precisely 1.8 yrs. Ma friend told me its a good place to eat food and we decided to have food there the next day. cos we already had Frankies and stuff. So we left the Chicks back and with only one mission in mind we went back home. Well I returned from work (i work as an Animator) and asked ma frends to meet at that place at dinner time. so I went to place a bit of Counter Strike at a cyber Cafe near Guru da Dhaba. We waited for our frend who came late and then we entered the long waited Golden Temple of Food (cos its owned by a sikh family). We got the last table, it was pretty crowded and we were jus waitin to see what was the crowd all about. we were sweatin really, it was drippin down ma gotie. nevaways. after ordering the same food to the same confused Minor kid waiter, three times, WE had it in front of our eyes. I cudnt believe the menu was huge.. no fancy names just plain indian traditional food items.
Guess what.......................... IT WAS AMAZING DUDE. I Cant describe it in words. It tasted like ol days at homeland. I tell ya sumthin in MUMBAI no Fancy restaurant knows how to cook food properly. they have this same Masala/ MIxture. in which they put anything u order. so if u order bhindi or dum alu or mix veg, it tastes the same. I hate that stuff. u get all fancy items in restaurants but they dont taste good, All Fusions. Even the cooks are confused about what they are making.
At Guru da Dhaba u get Proper Home Food. So all the Bachelors who live away from home, whenever u miss ya mom, go and have sumthin at this place.
Its decently priced ...... each sabji ranging from 20-35 bucks. and roti for 3 bucks.. can u beat that....

Imagine u get Arbi at this place I neva saw arbi in any of the restaurant till now. but must be seasonal.
Look the place isnt fancy, normal furniture, Its a awhole Family business so even the Lady of the family manages the orders looks very cool I mean nice.
if u have a bindaas GF.. take her to this place its a lot better than any ogf the restaurants.
Hey guys per head ( if u eat like a hog) comes around 50 bucks. They even give thalis for 50 bucks includes almost everything...... even disposable thali.
Jus remember one thiing dont give order to the kid, although all are kids but He took a lot of our patience Man. anyways it was worth it.. even the food is such ull neva get sick or get stomach problems.
So all Mommas ou there send ur kids to this place and not to Mc. Don. which is very close by.
So ill lev now. I hate ma life. after 2 yrs I got to know this place and now I have to lev mumbai....... got admission to NID.Ahemdabad. Anyways

Well here’s hoe to reach there. from andheri station west ask lokhandwala complex. at lokhandwala reach at Mc. Donalds. from there walk straight and ask anyone for Guru da Dhaba.
But Remember one thing ITS A DHABA . Not a restaurant. ur goin there to have GOOD FOOD nuthin else.
