A Tribute To This Emotional Intelligent

There are two kinds of creative people in this world. One who are intelligent by brain and know how to use their brain and skill to create something new and give it to the world.

The other one are the people who are intelligent by heart, keep powerful emotions in their heart and are genius enough to transform those emotions into some creativity. The emotionality inside them inspire to do something better and to create something new. They don’t care what world thinks about them or their work they just work and give what best they can do.

This review is a tribute to An Actor, choreographer, film producer and above all a great film direcor Gurudutt.

I put Gurudutt in the second category. Vasant Shivshankar Padukone Aka Gurudutt was born on 25th July 1925. When he was born his father was working as a teacher in Bangalore. later his father quit that job and transferred his family to Calcutta in 1930. his father was fond of writing poetry in English and Gurudutt’s mother was knowing eight different languages. so the creativity was also endowed in him by his parents.

Inspired by the live performace of the great Dancer Shri Udaishankar’s. In 1942 Gurudutt joins the classes for Classical dancing. Thats how he gets his first job in Prabhat studio as a choreographer.

I m writing this review specially today because Today is his birthday. A Genius who lived only 39 years of life and has given a very few films as a director and producer but his work is still an inspiration for film makers. There is lot more data you can find on internet about his personal life and his work I will not cut paste here any of them.

I m writing this review so that people who just have heard his name can look at his work and know that a Genius was came on this earth who still can shake emotions with his creativity.

I m sharing a song which is one of my favorites from his albums. Actually its difficult to choose one from the songs of his films. Im picking this song specially because I feel somewhere this song also talks about his personal life and experiences, its my personal opinion.

The song is from movie PYAASA(1957). sung by great singer Hemant Kumar.

Jaane Woh Kaise Log The Jinke Pyar Ko Pyar Mila

Humne To Jab Kaliyaan Maangi Kaaton Ka Haar Mila

Bichhad Gayaa Har Saathi Dekar Pal Do Pal Ka Saath

Kisko Phursat Hai Jo Thaame Deewane Ka Haath

Humko Apna Saaya Tak Aqsar Bezaar Mila

Humne To Jab.

Isko Hi Jeena Kehte Hain To Yunhi Ji Lenge

Uf Na Karenge Lab See Lenge Aansoo Pee Lenge

Gham Se Ab Ghabraana Kaisa Gham Sau Baar Mila

Humne To Jab.
